I have quite a few friends that go to the same gym as me. As much as I enjoy talking to them, there are very few things that infuriate me more than them coming up to talk to me during my rests in between sets.

That was kind of my initial impressions too, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something since I really don’t know the market.

I didn’t even realize those were a thing. I’d still feel bad about scratching the frame all up and destroying the fairings if I laid it down though. When I have the cash I’ll probably just try to find a cheaper used bike that I don’t care about, learn to at least ride properly, then buy something worth having.

As someone who really doesn’t know much about the modern bike market, what is missing from this bike compared to other bikes in it’s price range?

I was just thinking the same because I’ve wanted a bike for a while now. Problem is I’d like to find a used one. I’d be afraid to buy something that looks this nice and lay it down trying to learn.

I’ve seen a guy driving a vehicle with both feet out the window on the highway, car just on cruise control. I passed him just thinking “Dude what if you need to you know... stop?”

I don’t think you understand that most people travel more than 30 miles in a single direction and these have to be downloaded before hand, it isn’t like it keeps the most recent 50 sq km.

It isn’t like you can plan ‘oh I am going to get lost here, I’ll download this map before I leave for my trip’.

Oh yeah, I totally plan ahead of time exactly where I am going to get lost so that I can download that 50 sq km map before I leave. /S
