I hate cramps in the summer because the heating pad doesn't work. Have you tried Aleve? I was on Tylenol but then it stopped working before I could take the next dose, and Motrin worked for my cramps while Aleve is wonderful for my headaches.

I got a new bed earlier this year too and OMG it made such a difference in my back problems. Great beds are a necessity for proper function.
