@ Everyone: Thank you so much. I hadn't realized they'd have dressing rooms!

because i was late to the original post, i'll ask my question about tailoring here.
I've never done tailoring so simple questions:
@boxspelunker: I used to swear thin sweatshirts during the summer all through hs but in college I got used to shaving in order to wear short sleeves (but it was only warm enough to do that in May and early September). As I'm moving south in the summer (NY to TX) my SO says I'll have to wear shorts, but he doesn't…
@GiggleLoop: Haha, my boss says she wants to come back as a house cat.
@leytpr4: Waaaa-awwwws.
@andromache: Yay for your mom. I'm glad this dog is getting a second chance with a responsible pet-parent.
@boxspelunker: Yay.
I figure I just put on my mp3 player. Which includes wedding appropriate bands like Seether, Papa Roach, Staind, Disturbed and Drowning Pool.
@thrombus: I want to but 1) my SO doesn't want me to. (Woman power and all that, but this boy asks so little from me, I don't think it's that big of a deal to have shoulder length hair which I've always had.) 2) I don't want bangs.
Know any good drugstore tinted lip balms? I've been looking through [makeupalley.com] but I figured I should ask here too. Right now I'm using up my Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm and I'd like something to replace it with a touch of color, but no sparkle/shimmer.
@petcerealkiller: Seconded. And I'm way too scared to go to a threader / waxer because I don't want to lose so much of my eyebrows!
@duetoprivacy: Powder to set it. And as my stage makeup teacher told us "For the Love of my Blood Pressure, stop touching your faces!"
Eyebrow shaping. I want to do it myself because I don't want thin eyebrows that everyone else seems to get after waxing / threading.
@envirodesigner: find them on LinkedIn. More professional site.
@Sasha Reptilia McFearless: I'm 21. My mother, aunts, older girl cousins (in their 30's now) and grandmother all sewed for some time in the sweatshops.
In case you're interested, there is a YA novel about the events leading up to and including the fire told from the point of view of three girls who worked there. It's called Uprising by Margaret Peterson Haddix.
I use BCP, lighter period and the cramps are no where near as bad. They still come but at least then a hot water bag (rubber, found in drugstores) and tylenol usually work.
I use pressed eyeshadow on a angled brush. Softer look and it's ok to miss a little.
