I agree on most points except the boots. Having had multiple bikes land on my foot while wearing street shoes/leather boots, it’s better to splurge on something designed for motorcycles.

Oh man, I feel for you. As a fellow Versys rider I know that bike Must have been almost new. Glad you bought that protection- most people buy good gear after they buy farkles, which is usually too late to stop a couple cases of road rash.

Thats a SAME. It’s like a Kubota, pretty much just a little lever where your turn signal lever would be. Also that hedger would have destroyed the side of that car. It’s like 20 little, exposed lawnmowers run by hydraulic pumps.
