APP REQUEST: A few people I know have been looking for something to solve one of these problems for a few years. They need an app that would allow you to quickly and easily upload recorded video or audio to multiple sites, even when/if you are being harassed about recording the situation. Too many people going out on

Well, that blows.

Thanks, I'll add it to my list.

Would love to see recommendations for a Mac compatible webcam. Preferably a good balance of price and performance.

This sit/stand desk height calculator is a good starting place, with monitor placement suggestions. Only guidelines, of course, since everyone is different.

To stop saying FFS every time I see another article about resolutions.

Why damage the hardware, when it's not much more trouble to shim the hinge? Unscrew a bit, slide in some toothpicks (also helpful for holes that are stripping), tighten down. Experiment until desired swing/not-swing is achieved.

Unless you're shorter than average, in which case the height is perfect. Different bodies, different needs.

I'm sorry you're in such a rough place right now. Perhaps some OSS contributions in Game Design to build up a portfolio and keep you in practice? Something that would give your brain a workout, boost self-respect (cause that's the one that always gets me), and also makes you more attractive/valuable to a prospective

I wonder if a layer of rug gripper pad or tape between the cushion and the base would help?

Just how common is this slippage? I've only ever had it happen with some sheets once they were 12+ years old, and the elastic went (but they were soooo soft). As to getting the orientation correct - that's a joke, right?

This is the right way to fold a fitted sheet. My grandmother taught me when I was...5?...and I've been doing it ever since.

I'm with CapitalOne 360 now, but thinking of changing to Ally.

Yeah, I got brushed off, too. I'll have to try again. Mine was for a fan that needed an electrician to install, so I had to rearrange my schedule twice to accommodate their delay.

I have a SodaStream, but I don't drink colas and the like. Generally, I just drink it with a little lime, lemon or cranberry juice. You really just have to watch your labels. It's also great for mixing up adult beverages. Carbonated water isn't necessarily bad for you, but it can aggravate acid reflux symptoms, as

Much better to hire a web designer. I have adequate skills, but design is not where my proficiency lies. It's counterproductive to try to be the best in everything.

Parallels is a resource hog. Until I can upgrade to a fancy-pants Mac, I'm not even bothering with dual-boot.

Thanks for the Proximate mention! I host monthly tech meetups and have been trying out new event managers as I find them, for free registration needs. We'll have to use this for January.

Perhaps because MS Office on a Mac is a nightmare? Going from a PC at work to Mac at home, the difference is particularly noticeable.

Wow, that really is effective. Still have to different stretches for the piriformis pain, but this is definitely being added to the routine. 16+ hours/day in an ill-fitting desk chair != good.
