Gee, I wonder why they’re suing? They promised us nothing was changing so what’re THEY worried about?
Didn’t Barnes also admit that he was trying to make Kobe flinch?
Yeahhhhhh, fuck Jon Jones. I’m tired of that guy. I don’t care how good he is....if you’re always in trouble for something does it really matter.
After a week like the one we just had, it’s always nice to see what humans can accomplish when they get their shit together.
to get roasted by a shockingly deep generation of NBA teens who wildly overrate his status as an all-time great
“He who smelt it, dealt it”
This is bullshit. The Dodgers played to win, thus, blowing their entire bench and bullpen in a SIXTEEN INNING GAME.
I’m sure the article was well written and thought out, and I promise I did skim it. But this was a really long winded way of saying “Larry Fedora is a fucking idiot”
Right. Go ahead and list all of the illegal acts they’ve been caught doing. I’ll wait.
Agreed. I enjoyed the video, but something about it just seemed off. They weren’t reacting the way you would if it were really happening live. There’s no way a couple of those guys wouldn’t have had a “really?? we get a call NOW?!?” reaction.
Call me a jaded grumpy cynic, but part of me thinks that’s all set up.
I’m so glad this was the top comment. As I was skimming the article I was thinking to myself “I wonder which one he is?”
As soon as I read ‘There’s no need to identify every single touch of the ball’, I realized HOLY SHIT IT’S THE ONE THAT DRIVES ME UP THE WALL BY ANNOUNCING EVERY SINGLE PLAYER THAT TOUCHES THE BALL.…
This warranted an entire blog post? Dafuq?
The same analysis could be done for Luis Suarez. IMO, the best off the ball striker in the world.
That’s now the song they play on the PA when he hits a HR. It’s AWESOME.
It was more to contrast it with sports that DON’T have a shoot out to determine a winner to show how weird it would be.
Didn’t know that! I’m Mexican and I’ve heard a ton of men (including my dad) call their wives “vieja” (which i always found odd). The reddit thread on r/soccer with this video also referred to her as his wife. Thanks for the link.
I think the translation is bad. He refers to her as “vieja, querida” which literally translates to “old lady, my love”. It’s a term of endearment that I’m fairly certain means his wife gave it to him.
This gif just about sums it all up:
