a nexus 7 can be had for about £80 if you go second hand, and the ouya runs £99, and as it was stated above that its for use as a media and emu machine speed isnt a massive issue, emus dont need much power generally. also the N7 is almost as powerful as the ouya and isnt plagued by nearly as many huge issues however

save your money and get a raspberry pi or cheap tablet with hdmi out

id start looking forward to xmas 2025 first!

thats a horror story mate, sorry to hear you lost such a hefty collection. i am shocked that your insurance wouldnt pay out, although im not really, insurance companies are pretty much always assholes but it seems rather especially unfair that they wont cover you because you werent there, i mean thats part of why you

wow thats a whole hell of a lot of games right there! that said although ive been a gamer for many years its only in the last 2-3 that ive felt comfortable trusting digital distro.

i bought rouge legacy but i waited to see if it would be discounted further just because ive been stung before buying then seeing it get cheaper later, but i do not begrudge paying the price i did at all.

it kind of is but it didnt go quite far enough, the pc version doesnt look that much better than a tweaked emulator rather than giving a few extra polygons to those 3d models, check out s side by side of the pc and saturn versions of nights and youll see what i mean

and to think it was blowing peoples minds when it came out!

a nice clean up for HDTV would be good though, absolutely no change of the mechanics mind, im thinking like sega did with jet set radio and NiGHTS (both near perfect HD re-releases)

interesting that its made with rpg maker, i saw that in the steam sale and wondered if it was any good, then i realized that its not the making the engine i really have a problem with its that i dont actually have a great imagination so storytelling isnt exactly my strong point so ill probably never make a game. that

and as importantly, how likely is it that you will meet another person who shares your interests when those interests often lead you to spend a lot of time at home away from where you would be likely to meet other people, its not like there are arcades anymore.

im not proud its just what i am, and until the world, his wife and their dog decided to dub themselves a geek/nerd because they watched star wars or play COD it was a fine way to describe myself, shorthand for "a socially awkward, grey looking person who has spent 99% of his life at a keyboard, screen or soldering

im not saying it should be somehow mega exclusive, just that its become so inclusive that pretty much anyone can now claim to be a part of it, saying youre a geek is really not much more descriptive of yourself than saying im a human.

those community votes went in some very odd directions, a lot of potential good deald didnt happen in favour of repeats or crap

maybe it was but there never used to be people calling themselves geeks (and even wearing bloody t-shirts stating the fact) just because they enjoyed a season of dr who.

couldnt have said it better myself

the term "geek" has been so watered down these days its become somewhat meaningless anyway

yes you are, i just stopped playing as i only have 4 hours to sleep till work! damn this game, its going to eat my life

no flash sale, bought it anyway, been playing all evening, died about a million times so far but im getting better

i kept hoping rogue legacy would come down more but it looks like 20% is the best ill get, ive decided im getting one more game, either that, primordia or blade symphony bu im not sure which yet
