Sorry for picking up an old post. But you speak so much sense you shocked me. Too bad this world has too little people capable of thinking like you.
If the Hilux is a great truck, I will buy it anyway regardless of this video. I am sure a lot of people were like me, came from a time when trucks have no traction/stability control, when you can flip every truck like this straight from the dealer. That was a time when people were expected know basic vehicle control…
Speaking of pedantic, I notice the fancy suave silver truck’s back drops are mostly Hong Kong, a city with regulation that consider pick up truck to be commercial vehicle only, such irony.
Since someone mentioned Craigslist, I think it’s worthy to note unless you really really love wrenching and really know what you are doing or both, stay away from used hobby-grade RC’s. They might look very tempting by having various “upgrades” in a sometimes lower-than-buying-new prices, but these vehicles are…
You wrote a very fine piece of automotive journalism, I don’t understand why so many people are missing your point. All I can to is press thumbs up on your comment.

LeTV, they run as Netflix sort of site but their real job is making TV’s and smartphones of the same brand with decent popularity in its home market. LeTV was one of our employer’s case study, I can mock all I want, like all things came out of China, but people who could run a company like this are certainly not…
I don’t own any Nissan’s or have any special feeling for them, but I do have a special feeling for Consumer Reports. Maybe because the CR name used to be cited by Chevy commercial a lot, I tend to feel CR have a subtly positive bias toward GM vehicles, and therefore CR never held high credibility in my mind.
My PC as I am looking through the screenshots: Oh God no, please, no
Thanks, RC car is an underrated hobby.
