I only ever catch the Thursday night broadcast when the Patriots are playing on it, because I don't get the NFL Network, but we still get the local game because of contractual obligations.

Yeah, I really missed the whoa-oh-ohs. Still, brings back good memories of watching VACATION every summer with dad.

Sega was such a filthy slut.

Hey, you got your Onion in my AV Club!

I was thinking of Lorne. But he was on Angel, not Buffy. And I can't remember if he tended bar, or just owned the bar.

It's hard to say if she really felt like she deserved to win, though. They're definitely coached to say things like that in the talking head segments. And she knew she wasn't a very good dancer—there was a point a few weeks back where she looked like she really wanted to go home—so what angle was she going to go with?

I was rooting for him to win. He wasn't the best dancer, but he also came in with no dance background. I like to see people improve over the course of the show, and he really did.

Also, Jamie Lee Curtis is like Jennifer Grey's best friend or something. She was at every show!

The EPs are great, but I love the flow of the comp. It cuts out the A- tracks from the EPs, and is all killer.

She's the new face of Mugatu's Derelicte campaign.

He's credited as Munch, but it's no more than a cameo.

"Dare" is good, but you're right that it's no "Clint Eastwood" or "Feel Good, Inc." Still, the Gorillaz songs are some of the strangest to be featured on this NOW series, and "Dare" might be the strangest of them all.

Wow, "Crazy" wasn't on a NOW? That's surprising. I remember that being a massive, "Hey Ya!" level hit. It's not quite as good as the Outkast song, and didn't have quite the staying power, but it was HUGE. Maybe it just seemed huge.

Great show, terrible band name.

Best Munch Appearances?
The Wire and Arrested Development?

It's not as good as some of the stuff that came later, though I think I'd put it above With Teeth and Year Zero (not that much higher, though). But "Head Like a Hole," "Terrible Lie," "Down In It," "Sanctified," "Ringfinger," and "Sin" still get a lot of play from me.

They review the first episode of most new shows.

Really? I don't find Zelda to be a slog. I play through it every couple years.

My Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry jelly jar glasses are going to kill me? I knew it!

Ick, winter beers. Count me out! Same with most Summer Ales.
