I keep forgetting that Inglourious Basterds is coming out this summer. I hate the title, and the trailer hasn't totally sold me on it yet, but I've loved everything Tarantino has done. He may just be riffing on what others have done before, but he does it so well.

Mann is usually pretty good. Yeah, Miami Vice wasn't so great. But Collateral was really good. It's a movie I always bring up whenever people knock Tom Cruise as an actor. And Heat is a stone classic.

I hope Public Enemies is good. I agree, we need more olde-timey gangsters rolling around in Model Ts, and shootin' up the Feds with tommy guns and the BAR.

I think 500 Days looks pretty good. Zooey comes off as the opposite of most of her roles, to me. And Leavitt has been consistently good the past few years.

I didn't see it on the show, since I'm busy on Tuesdays now, but I just listened to it. Holy geez, that was actually really friggin' good. I agree, we need a flamboyant, glamorous rocker now.

There was a Cannonball Run III. It was called Speed Zone! It starred a bunch of SCTV folks instead of Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise. Jamie Farr was in it, though.
