If Favre hasn't come out of retirement before the season starts, I think we need to put PK on suicide watch.

I like the part where the ambulance takes out half of the Packers' starting offense.

Joe Buck is the worst. Fox baseball is the worst.

Jaws is awesome in the studio, nobody breaks down film like him. But he's no good in the booth.

"They're Coming to Take Me Away" is inspired. Who has the direct line to American Idol, so that we can make Dr. Demento Week happen? Or Weird Al week!

That's too bad. Miley's packing heat, and everybody knows you don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

Can I just say that Miles' deadpan reading of the script was one of the funniest things ever?

There's not much to improve. Empire is pretty sweet. What Hurley should be doing is writing the prequels, with improvements. That way, the scripts actually would have existed at the time Star Wars came out, and we could have gotten 3 good movies out of 'em.

According to Lostpedia, Chang is a theoretical astrophysicist. Of course he's going to look down his nose at those lame biologists weighing crap.

Maybe whatever Dharma constructed at The Swan was something that needed to be kept running. Dharma fucks up some shit when they build the station, and the Others know that the button needs to be pressed, otherwise bad stuff goes down.

Lil' Ben is pretty good though, almost as creepy as regular Ben.

"Hey, careful, man! There's a beverage here!"

I dunno, I have a feeling we'll see some residual effects from Charlie's bellyworms. I hope so, at least.

Frickin' animal-rights activists, making the world dangerous for the rest of us. Can't they just leave the superviruses and genetic hybrids be?

Really? I've never seen anything good on This. But it's also a pain in the neck to look at their schedule, so I never keep track of what's playing. At least half the time I've turned it on, they've been showing Burt Reynolds cop movies (and not the same Burt Reynolds cop movies). But Throne of Blood and Blow Out,

I just wish there were more channels like TCM. They're almost like a museum of films at this point. They educate without being preachy. And they take great care in what they show and when. The people curating the films over there are fantastic.

IFC is good too. It's another channel that I lost when I moved.

I don't know if they still show it, but there used to be a short documentary (only about 5-10 minutes long) they'd show about aspect ratios, back when the battle was raging between fullscreen and letterboxing. Everybody wanted fullscreen, because it filled up their TV. But I'd sit people down and make them watch it,

Back at my old house, TCM was part of the basic cable package. But now that I've moved, and have Comcast, I'd have to pay a crapload more if TCM (and a host of other channels I'd never watch). It's a great channel, and I miss having it.

Does every TV show need to be on DVD?
I can't think of anybody who was clamoring for the final season of Wings.
