The Gainesville, Fl community has responded. The mayor has declared Sept. 11th as Interfaith Solidarity Day. Many churches are having interfaith scripture (Christian, Muslim, and Jewish) readings on that day.

@Neimo: I don't have either camera, but from what I've read of the two, the LX5 focuses quicker and has less lag between pressing the shutter and taking the picture.
