It will be fine, for now. Most companies can coast for a while without a decent chunk of their workforce. Twitter can definitely keep operating without their ethical AI team, or a lot of other departments. It’s a horrible idea in the long term but in the short term it makes Twitter look better on paper, which gives

I never thought a purely subjective opinion on aesthetics could be objective wrong.

The Scaglieti was also ugly and had a bad name.

Wait. There is more than one person who can look at a 550 and say, with a straight face, that it isn’t a good looking car?

Wait. You have a Cardo bluetooth system. Why mount your phone to the bike at all? Why not keep it in a jacket pocket?

Yes, I would think that going from 60+mph to stationary while also sensing multiple impacts would generally qualify as a crash.

These are freakin’ great. They bake their rolls daily, and they slice their cold cuts to order. Absolutely yes to the cherry pepper relish.

The Kia Boys of Milwaukee have entered the chat!

Because most of the time the “bare minimum” is still a lot of work. The whole reason this entire notion of “quiet quitting” is bullshit.

Test Drive Le Mans was so awesome. The actual progression of time and the ability to save when you pitted. Made for a great game.

I completely agree with not taking it to HR. Take it to someone else, preferably outside of your department and see if they agree that you are being treated differently. A lot of companies assign people mentors outside of their department as they can provide a different perspective. If that person were to say “yeah,

If you are an “at will” employee, your employer is stupid for trying to “quiet fire” you. They could just terminate you anytime they want. Trying to “quiet fire” an employee could be giving that employee ammunition for a harassment claim because all of the actions above could be support for proving a hostile workplace.

This happened to me at a big corporate position two jobs ago. I found out later from someone I knew higher up that it was a systematic way for them to trim staff without outright firing them or dealing with the public impact of layoffs. I was put on probation without warning for committing an act in the system they’ve

You’re really pretending this is all more complicated that it is.

Marry a plumber or something and the dude will spend all day worshiping her

As a former hot person*, this is very very true. A lot of the dudes who used to try to “get” me would generally only be interested in me existing by their side as a pretty ornament without a thought in my head and being a fuckdoll at night.

The whole incel culture is born out of this misguided idea. Making guys feel like losers if they aren’t banging everyone in sight, instead of encouraging them to be the best version of themselves which could lead to a fulfilling relationship with an awesome person. Most “incels” don’t have any idea WHY they want to be

Ultimately, a resigned-looking Ratajkowski concludes: “So, yeah. That’s why we don’t have a lot of love in cis-hetero relationships.”

I completely agree, and it hurts men too because they don’t really ever know what they want.
