You know, the other day I was thinking about how hard it’d be to make a Mario film. What would he look like? How would you decide on the proportions and the art style? Would it seek to emulate any of the games? After seeing this, however, I think I have my answer. This is just good for Mario and Luigi, the whole cast

You know what? These are awesome frickin pics.

I literally think he’s the biggest ass clown and a direct beneficiary of apartheid and a rich family. However, SpaceX is literally the reason we have a privatized space program and has helped NASA immensely. Tesla he stole, Solar City wasn’t revolutionary, the Boring Company is absolute hot garbage (I literally troll

Building a space launch company, a multi-thousand satellite constellation, and the most successful EV company is a snake-oil salesman?

Not to be one of those nerds who defends Elon musk, but here in California nearly every car is a Tesla and the folks who drive them all love them, swear by them, and say they’ll never drive another car that’s not a Tesla.   That’s some snake oil he’s got there.

It’s interesting that Jalopnik sees this as a car story. To me, it’s a corruption story. The council shouldn’t be doing secret deals with preferred residents - if it’s in the best interests of the area to give this company a waiver of some sort, then that should be openly discussed in meetings, recorded in the

clearly the cops are a part of the arrangement. cops are MUCH cheaper than parking in Los Angeles.

I really wouldn’t blame Platinum for this. Remember SquEnix dropped the ball huge on the live service Avengers game too and somehow the single-player Guardians of the Galaxy game turned out to be great.

the original trailer they dropped for the game looked like a platinum game. It had the traditional combat that we’re used to seeing. The second trailer for the game was ....not the same. This screams executive meddling.

That was more Gears 2. Gears 1 went with a lot of green hues and grays, while Gears 2 went brown. Then Gears 3 remembered there were other colors in the world.

I was thinking Platinum is kind of like a Porsche Carrera GT. If the driver knows what they're doing you might be in awe of what it can do. If the driver doesn't know what they're doing they can crash and burn spectacularly badly, such as with this thing.

A few eggs dropped in the cowl at night should correct the issue in a few days.

Especially ones that charge up front on top of microtransactions

I actually drive by this place almost daily and I say that to myself every single time. They’re parked on a VERY busy street and all it would take is one accident to wreck like 3 Ferraris, it’s absurd. They’re also parked there all night so I’m not sure how they haven’t been stolen/broken into before.

The “live service game so we’ll fix it in post” thing needs to die off. It kinda worked out in Destiny for the simple reason that Destiny has incredibly tight and satisfying gunplay. But it’s not 2014 anymore. The market expects (at least) what Destiny 2 is right now, not what Destiny 1 was at launch.

EXACTLY.

If you pull up to a repair shop that doesn’t have a parking lot, your first thought should be “where is my car going to get stored?”

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't (and don't) fell comfortable parking my Equinox on the street!

I would think the *owners* of the fancy cars would be less than thrilled about having them parked on the street. If I knew a shop was doing that with my car I wouldn’t be taking my car there.

So... don’t use it based on drama and shit that happened 4-5 years ago? When emulators that are active generally change a hell of a lot in that time?
