I wonder how much of the issue- at the end of the day- is that most of our politicians are really, really out of touch with gaming, computers, etc.

Doesn’t help that their ‘$375 financing” is utter BS. I have a 790 credit score- and the best I ‘qualified for’ was $500 per month.

I don’t think many  people truly grasp the level of training that goes into Olympic level athletics, or the maintenance there-of. The athletes need the Olympics to happen just so they can relax for a couple months before the insanity that is upkeep and training resumes.

You ‘fix’ toxic work environments with a zero - literal zero- tolerance approach, and terminate the bad actors. Saw this at multiple dev studios, when I worked with them. It’s the only solution that ever ‘worked’. Clean out all the bad eggs- then toss any out that start to smell.

Very solid, unfortunate point. I know two (one former) ‘good’ cops. One a wife of one of my best friends- who when she reported corruption “ANONYMOUSLY” - got demoted a month later for ‘performance concerns’ that weren’t stated..
