Difference being that the witcher 3 had great writing to go with just about everything in the game. Most ginormous open world games can’t spout the same quality, and even cdpr wasn’t able to replicate that with their next big title after TW3. The narrative was probably the weakest part of this game for me. But then, nothings really hit as hard as the first 3 did.

And to be fair, I hated Odyssey from a narrative standpoint. But I own that one, so I’ll play the quests tying to Valhalla and then promptly delete it again. I guess I do own Valhalla on Ps4, but I’ve played it through the Uplay+ as well so my save will probably be fucked on my ps4 because I’m not actively purchasing…

I’m never touching this game again. There’s only 2 in the entire series I would say that about, and it’s the last 2 releases. Even Syndicate has reasons to appreciate it, even if it’s only because it was the second to last actual AC game.

I agree with this whole heartedly.
