That's the thing. Not everyone should have kids because it's just not right for them. Why is the concept of individuals doing what's right for them so damned intimidating to them? It has to be one answer for everyone. Fuck that noise.

I'm not being snarky, but honest question - do you really think that the age cutoff of 18 should always be a hard and fast line? If a 17 year old murders two people the day before his 18th birthday (which is a hyperbolic example, obvi), would you want him treated much more lax than if he'd waited a day?

I agree that this is horrific, but would you really not have them tried as adults? They almost killed someone, and not even as like a heat-of-the-moment fight, but as straight up, pre-meditated murder. I wouldn't want this treated any differently than if they'd been 18.

I'm really puzzled by stories like this, don't know if it's a US thing but at every UK institution I've spent significant time at in the last few years (about 3), and from stories from friends at other uni's, professors seem especially happy to see girls in STEM classes and other students seem more eager to work with

Just as a reminder, you can dismiss replies from trolls! :)

Yeah, but these kids will never know the magic of a mixtape, or of trying to find the track you want, or of just listening to an album halfway through and having to flip the tape.

Outside of the time of the Football World Cup and Football European Cup, Germans still feel uncomfortable around showing our flag. Being proud of the flag would mean being proud of anything Germany has done and there is certainly a lot not to be proud of, no matter where your family stood then. I still find myself

A number of people are asking for translations, so I shall do my best. My training: I grew up in a Pentecostal home and several families members to this day speak like this.

The people questing what we did in such negative ways are doing so because they are not christians. Christians are never negative and would never

You are basically not wrong :-) The UK, France and the Netherlands and to some extend, Spain and Portugal tend to be the racially more diverse because of their colonial history. But even in these countries if you go outside the cities you will find a pretty homogenous population of the type "My family lives here

No need to apologize. Yes, unfortunately, those who are under-educated on the region do run with the co-opted notion of what an Aryan actually is. It's vital that the true meaning is re-established, so that the insidious second "meaning" is eradicated.

I hope nobody is drinking the haterade this early in the day, but my reaction to both is "no no no no no!"

It has been a banner week for students in the East Bay. 1). A child is beaten with a hammer. 2). a child in Richmond is beaten on the school bus by the father of another student who was alledgedly being bullied. The driver does nothing. 3). At Oakland High, a student with Cerebral Palsy who depends on a wheelchair

Canada does have one, it baffles me that the US does not.
