Don’t invite the insult comedian to host the show.

This article/writing is terrible. I mean genuinely lacks substance of any sort. And ppl in the comments who think that Ricky Gervais just plays himself in the Office could not be more off the mark. How on earth can someone make an entire series with himself being the butt of the joke and not recognize the egotistical…

He’s a cis gendered white man who once made jokes that could vaguely be characterized as transphobic (not really though). The good people at jezebel will hate him forever. There is nothing he could have said yesterday to change that. 

He was always funny and really clever. The office was such a different and amazing show and so are his interviews. You may not find him funny and that’s okay but you can’t disregard that he has given us one the best / funnies show :)
