You’ve never trained a neural network before have you? The whole “how hard can it be” ignores that a Tesla operates at a level just barely above a drunk driver despite having more sensors and data available than the human.

Agree. Burgandy or GTFO.
Well, here’s the thing: you don’t get to pretend things you don’t like don’t exist. This is noteworthy. It’s also of note that it’s very dangerous and illegal.
Look, what Tesla has done for the adoption of EVs in the US is nothing short of remarkable. 10 years ago, electric cars were a joke and now they’re almost mainstream. But Elon is a bit of a dick who has been involved in scandals for how he runs his company, and it’s not “hating” to point that out. They’re not “hating”…
Ya don’t have to do residency to be an engineer bro, this isn’t the medical field. Source: am engineer and never did a residency.
Im sorry u dont understand sports. Suggest u compensate by participating in amateur racing
Why do people make such stupid comments without ever reading the article? It’s right there in the article saying it’s going to electric AWD. This is what is wrong with America. Preconceived prejudice and willful ignorance while refusing to ever even bother considering the facts.
900 naturally aspirated horsepower? Sure bud
I think Tesla had a solid design language, kinda safe, but looked enough like a high end car. This is a mess, if they’d just made a truck that looked more like the rest of their cars, it’d probably do pretty well.
Setting aside the PS1 design ethic, there’s a more obvious problem that I’ve not seen anyone address. The Whole Vehicle Type Approval system, the NHTSA and Euro-NCAP will never certify that truck with the exterior design it has right now. There are force limits for pedestrian impacts, and that front light bar / hood…
Its not even remotely futuristic... And if you truly believe it is, explain how.
So? Making the body panels triple the weight of what they should be will reduce the range. That’s simple physics.
Do not insult the F-117
I had a female “sometime” Mech Engnr girlfriend once comment that her favorite core ME classes at Stanford had been “Vibrations” followed by “Advanced Fluid Dynamics”...
What an absolute joke. The bed looks terribly impractical with those big sail panels blocking side access. The windshield seems tailor made for rain/ice/glare problems. That stupid fucking pyramid roofline not only ruins rear seat headroom, but funnels tons of extra rainwater into the bed. It also results in a gun…
<whispers> They also already have a Mustang.
