Head over to CorvetteForum and take a look at the growing list (over 10pages) of dealers selling AT MSRP. These are dealers that have built a reputation by staying true to their word and selling at MSRP. It has garnered life long customers who continue to return with the release of each new Corvette.

Ya no shit! Of COURSE there’s taxes, title, and dealer fees. That doesn’t change the fact that the MSRP was set by the maker and for the most part, decent volume Chevy dealers are not adding ridiculous Hellcat/Demon/Supra markups. Which is also remarkable in and of itself.

As I’ve never been to one of these events, given the description by several people, the closest I’ve come to this level of bone rattling ridiculousness, is standing next to an F16 tied to an anchor point during full augmenter (burner) run. You wanna talk about feeling it in your bones and soul? Jeezus H!

Nah man, a sure thing doesn’t make me a moron.

Since you’re so sure of yourself like the fuckstick you are, how about a bet? Put your money where your mouth is! This should be EASY money for you since you know for a fact that not 1, not a SINGLE C8 will ever be sold at MSRP in the first few months. You must really know how the world works big man.

Well, dumbass!

Aktually *pushes up glasses, you could sell it for more because the Z4 will come with a manual. You’ll have the only manual converted Supra.. 1of1 super rare never to be seen again. All the dollhairs!

More like there isn’t a 2 seater 35, and they knew any hoky cgi flying shit wasn’t gonna cut it for this.

Well at least M Night Shamalamadingdong isn’t making it, otherwise it’ll be a dream sequence of an alien in A51 thinking it was Maverick the whole time.

This is exactly what I think they’re planning. You can’t name the base C8 after the man... It’s gotta be something truly special. The ZR1 or whatever special craziness they plan to intro will no doubt share Zora’s name

And you’re a fellow pendant who continues to point this out. The author did not use the word rear and outright implied by use of specific words, or lack there of, that a motor has yet to be between the axles. That’s just incorrect. The author knows, the readers all know what isconsidered mid-engine,” but that quote d

A little friendly wager using a 3rd party volunteer from the lovely comments section; $20 bucks says that the mid-engine C8 starting price is under $70k.

Do you have evidence to suggest that it would cost the public $200k (msrp)? Supposed pricing for the 2020 Supra is about $50k, so where on earth would the remaining $150k in price increase come from?

That’s really awesome insight actually and I’m happy with the inception of this new Supra.

Hahaha.... Bwahaha!

Ok seriously, people keep mentioning how contorted you have to be to see the release on the floor when inside the car. Yet completely gloss over the fact that every.single.time you get in the driver’s seat you have to OPEN THE DOOR! The handle is visible when you get in the car, so sure it may be difficult once inside,

First off, regardless of how ridiculous you may think this door switch situation may be, it’s the owners responsibility to either read the manual, or go online to become familiar with all features, especially safety features. That’s how you learn about a new to you vehicle and understand, “oh hey, this does that,”

Once again this argument comes up.

Ok I had to login to comment. Yes, the picture was taken with the door open, which also means it’s VISIBLE WHEN YOU GET IN THE CAR! You and so many others making the same argument, seem to believe the driver somehow magically enters the car without ever having to open the damn door. As if they decide they want to go so

Snagged my affordable dream car just a measly couple of months before meeting the future Mrs. back in 2009, and to her credit not once in the last 9yrs did she ever urge me to sell it out of fiscal obligations, or resentment etc. (no kids, just 2dogs so the family hauler issue was moot, plus she had a Kia Sportage
