Isn’t that low risk, high return? Low risk being the dollar you’re probably sitting on in either the couch or your car. Didn’t think a buck was high risk.

Me personally I would pick the RS3 just cause.
I went with a neighbor (same apartment complex) and helped him repo some lady’s van. I was nervous as hell, cause after matching the vin and getting in the van, it didn’t start. Turned over twice and nothing happened and by that time the lady was outside running toward the van....but by the 3rd try the van came to…
Ya and not one of those “sales” was financed...right? Odd how for almost a month Jalopnik has been featuring articles regarding sub-prime lending and how people can’t afford cars.
Can’t believe how far I had to scroll to see the SS recommendation. With the deals going on even used, it’s certainly an option. Really does check all the boxes, especially reliability and maintenance cost, plus I def don’t think it’s a “dadmobile.”
Can vouch. When I got my incentive flight in an F16 a couple of years ago, the G load were absolutely sustained for longer periods over quick spikes on a meter. Also as pilots don’t like negative G’s, going up and over a mountain top required inverted dives and that’s when I needed my sick bag.
The second I saw that pic I couldn’t help but focus on them. So ya, “interesting choice,” is quite appropriate.
Pretty much nailed it. “I can sleep in my car, but I can’t race my house...”
I already have a coupe, but I’d be hard pressed not to get this if it were real...Who needs passengers? Damnit it looks so good! I’m thinking the whole rear glass should open like a hatch similar to a C5/6/7, room for days back there.
Stop being a douche. Those that want a ragtop will buy the convertible.
I’m thinking Subaru Legacy SpecB is exactly what Honda should do. But even then they won’t sell.
That’s how you adult as a jalop!
I’m thinking Neon SRT4 all over again.
This. I could snap one up if I wanted, but I’ll be damned if I’m driving a $35k Civic shopping cart.
Sure, but I’m also not spending $40k on a VW hatchback either. Don’t care how good it is, ain’t happenin. Used however.....why not?
I agree and honestly speaking I feel Honda would’ve sold more TypeR’s to my generation that grew up coveting such a car, 1) cause we can finally get our hands on one, 2) we’re old enough to either pay cash, or not worry if our credit will keep us from it.
That would be the absolute first thing I did if I ever got one, “aero” be damned (this would also apply to any STi or Evo). It’s not like I’m flying at the ‘Ring to need it anyway.
Settle down man, I believe there’s plenty of function but there is definitely non-functional design and vents, ie. the rear end appears to be vented like crazy but not one of them is functional.
Said the boy racer driving his shopping cart. You’re in the same category buddy, yet somehow ding the TypeR cause, “personal taste?” That’s funny.
