The older BG games can be played where you have control over each character, even NPCs. And you can tell the game to pause after each round so you can give new orders to each character. In fact, you could play the game as “multiplayer” where all 6 of the character slots were your own builds, and never have NPCs in…
At the core, though, BG and BG2 were turn based. Movement didn’t stop while waiting for the next turn, but spells and attacks occurred on a per round basis.
It’s almost as if two people can have different opinions!
He’s pretty worthy of such hate.
Oy, what’s with all this lamentation?
I agree. I was a co-op student (basically an intern) with NASA in the late 80s. I’ve actually been in the cockpit of one of them when they were still active. And the presentation of the Atlantis still made me say, “That’s cool!”
Lizzo the Barbarian
I’m pretty sure that was sarcasm, but you can never be totally sure anymore.

The heat shield tiles are incredibly fragile, but the damage isn’t glaringly obvious. The damage would only be a problem on re-entry. There is a lot of care they would have to take to stack it for launch that they wouldn’t have to for display. Connectors, wiring, hoses, etc.
The display at Gateway at KSC is really pretty cool. It’s set up as if it is banking right and downward, and the way you enter the room it is kept in lets you see the whole thing immediately and not just a little bit.
Well, NASA would have been concerned with making sure the fragile heat shield wasn’t damaged during stacking. This stacking won’t care about that.

I live in a right to work state. I’ve told my employer I won’t work unpaid overtime and I won’t take on new responsibility without a requisite pay increase. And I didn’t get fired, didn’t get demoted, didn’t get transferred out of state.
Given that Barbie as a movie is supposed to be ridiculous fun and incredibly unrealistic, maybe Barbie putting it on her world map indicates how dumb the 9 dash line really is.
Wow I can’t believe two stupid assholes left the same dumb reply
Oddly enough, my wife needed to get hers renewed for a cruise. She paid for expedited, and got it in 4 weeks.
