Educate me, please... I thought most of these were on air suspension or something so they could be driven to wherever they need to show off this “style” (HEAVY quotes on that)? Why can’t he just lift it back up.

I already have a mechanic that works on my M. They only work on BMWs and Porsches and I trust them implicitly. I’d be fine turning it over to them to sort out the remaining stuff.

Seems a good 50% of auctions on BaT at any given time are 911s. Not saying I don’t like them, but certainly doesn’t feel as though they are rare or difficult to get... just difficult to afford.

I pretty much NP every car presented that is under $4k. So $2k for a decent early 90s wagon is a no-brainer for me. I would figure out something fun to do with it in a sleeper sort of way.

Are they trying to find people that don’t normally use their cars? I know plenty of people here in Chicago who have cars, but naturally don’t use them for long periods of time.

This takes effort and government-run transit agencies are lazy. Furthermore they will get local “leaders” butting in on transit planning. This has nothing to do with actual commuting patterns.
