There’s maybe a half dozen roundabouts in the city of Chicago and one of them was on the quiet street of Wolcott at Cornelia right outside my old apartment. This same thing happened to a clearly inebriated drive late one night as I heard an incredibly loud sound. I went outside to investigate and there was no car.

That’s all you need to convert to electric: new paint job and a nice little summer number.

Yes.

If electric cars are so expensive why do people build them in their garages with old batteries?

He still gets to race in F1, still gets good money, probably gets to hold on to a Ferrari or two, and will probably get an Alfa (or two). More importantly, we likely still get to see people try to figure out how to interview him after a race once in awhile.

That one went to Spy Hard... a different Leslie Nielsen movie. Here’s Mr. Magoo.

Kind of surprised that it was louder. That could easily take a couple Canucks to their prom.

Love the fact that they couldn’t get the Aston to roll; so they had to put an air cannon firing down to flip it.

I was shocked when my wife and I were the only ones walking across empty intersections before the “WALK” signal came on. Being from Chicago, that was a tough habit to break for the time we were there.

Yes, my buddy’s ‘15(?) GTI. It’s fine, just not high up on my list. Rather have my rear-wheel drive cars.

Not sure what kind of room there is between the current MacBook, which is basically smaller/lighter than the Air, and an iPad with a detachable keyboard. If there is room though, rest-assured Apple will find it.

That’s what the frunk is for. ;)

C’mon, you don’t need a hatchback for skis:

I drove my buddy’s 2015(?) GTI and it was fine, but hatches would be after a lot of other things on my list.

Little bit of both.

Does anyone else not “get” the whole hot-hatch thing, or do I need to turn in my Jalopnik card?

That GAP insurance one is tricky. It was later at night when I bought my ‘05 Mazda RX-8 GT, but thankfully State Farm had a 24hr number that miraculously had people knowledgeable enough answering it. Helped me avoid paying for that.

He’s currently signed on to do two more.

The chase was wildly forgettable, but the movie was tolerable and might have been good if they dropped the whole Blofeld-is-Bond’s-brother story line.

I think, like many other heads of a corporation, Bezos is willing to and wanting to donate and support anyone that benefits his company and bottom line. He’s more than likely wildly agnostic in other matters.
