I remember one of the “cool” seniors had one of these when I was a sophomore in high school. However, even then I didn’t like it.

My mother-in-law got me this book, Fast Forward, that had the Stratos in it (and on the cover).

“Get that thing out of my kitchen!”

Certainly has a lot to do with how much water you use in the process. Even when you tape off the area around the lights, you still get a lot of over-spray of the solution.

It was Bavarian Autosports “brand”. I have no idea what the actual brand is. They have been great, though. So if you have a BMW, I’d recommend those for sure.

About 30-45 minutes per headlight (or one drill battery pack per) worth of work:

I used this from Bavarian Autosport (assume its pretty similar) and was pleased with the results:

It actually says “Safety Fast”. Which is honest in its lack of making sense.

Dude, half the fun is feeling like your going to die! I regularly take our TR6 on the expressways around Chicago... well regularly in the summer; So July and some of August.

At 6', ~180 lbs, I barely fit into our TR6... its so close that I can’t wear my cowboy boots to drive it; Top-siders, Chucks, or racing shoes. That’s it.

When I lived in San Bernardino the bus system there was AWFUL

California’s “best” is a pretty low bar, though.

You can’t use shared rails at all, though. These are dedicated and nearly closed off rails. So certainly part of the problem is that almost entirely new lines have to be built.

Just got back from Japan and had the immense pleasure of riding the Shinkansen a couple times. It was glorious.

utterly endearing and very funny

Noted!

Does anyone else loath Michael Peña? I just don’t get him.

I had forgotten how much of that wasn’t Chicago. The overhead shots seem like some B-roll they found and digitally added the cars.

I’m doing this on Saturday. Hoping they don’t suspend them.
