Good note... I’m headed there in May. Hopefully my wife understands this struggle.

This article has been updated... it originally didn’t even mention a housing. When I first posted this comment, I searched for “housing” and found nothing. Finding that so perplexing; I went and re-read the article.

1st Gear: Part of their resurgence plan needs to involve getting Bond back in a Lotus.

We have this in the States, too!

Great... where am I, as a heterosexual male, supposed to see scantily-clad women that I’d have zero-percent chance of interacting with now? Huh? Answer me that if you’re so smart!

To me the GT benchmark is the Aston Martin DB. Probably more specifically the DB9. All other “GT” cars, for me, are a percentage of GT-ness by how close they are to the DB.

I don’t have a concise answer to your headline question, but I want to express what makes a car ugly, and by extension makes me angry: The “5th generation”, ‘97-’05, Chevy Malibu. During some of that time I was working car rental, and I saw that the generic car on our check-in/out sheets looked exactly like the Malibu.

I am NOT a truck person, but damn, there are some sweet-ass versions of the Ranger in this article I would HAPPILY drive the shit out of.

I never appreciated how lucky we are in Chicago to have alleys in our downtown area until I had to travel to NYC a bunch a couple years ago. I loved NY, but man, not having alleys for all those deliveries, etc; what an incredible difference it makes.

In JFK’s voice:

My first car was a humble ‘92 Pontiac Bonneville. When my dad bought it new he knew it would eventually go to me; so he took immaculate care of a pretty basic car. Once I got it, I also took pretty good care of it.

Review and pics are great, but in regards to the filter on the pics:

Has anyone tried to LS-swap a Prius?

I’d still like an answer to your question...

This is the first time I did this.

From what I’ve read, that infrastructure money is on ice.

What do you mean “will almost certainly be totally different once produced”?

And there’s the second rudest...

I have a ‘98 M Roadster and someone on a subreddit said I drove a hairdresser’s car.

Top-notch Simpsons reference.
