Street sweeping is a little more haphazardly scheduled in Chicago. Sometimes just consisting of a couple-days heads up on when it will happen via temporary signs.

One time with my old Jeep the doors were frozen shut so I brewed a pot of just water, punched a hole in the top of an old plastic bottle and tried to spray the hot water around the door. It eventually worked, but it made me feel really poor.

For some reason my ‘98 M Roadster has heated seats. Allows me to have the top down when it is ~40 degrees here is Chicago.

A+ for execution, but too much dollarydoos.

New top, paint correction detail (anyone have advice on this), wheel refinish, and guibo replacement on the M Roadster.

I used to follow Paul. I remember the Mercedes campaign. His were better than the rest.

Big +1 for having a continuous shot and a POV (Hero Session, I assume).

I’ll take a hard pass on that one. Girl I ended up with is 10^10 better.

They do recycle the water and they do filter, etc. it. Source: I “dated” a girl that did PR for the carwash association (it’s real, and it’s website is literally carwash.org ... DOT ORG), and she ended up working as a COO for the association.

Never seen this one before, but I love it... so accurate.

Oh wow, I just assumed Argonne and especially Fermi would be on the list (thanks for posting the whole list, btw). I might want to get out to those before its too late.

When I was fresh out of college I worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and we were often picking people up and dropping them off at Argonne National Lab. That place was a trip. They had white deer (not from some experiment) that you would see occasionally there.

Deserves more stars (of David).

My dad had the ‘96 SSEi in color-shifting green/purple. That car did NOT f#@k around.

Chevy: Ha! We have made a car so dull that it looks like those generic-car-damage diagrams on rental car contracts! Behold, the new-for-’97 Chevy Malibu! There can be none duller!

I only care about how your wife looks on all fours.

I like how there’s a picture of the Pagani on the wall; “This is what it should like like when done.”

This may rank among the most beautiful Ferrari cars of all time

And then there are those times you’re happily surprised:
