Look at all those people filming it in portrait. Sigh.

You need a comma in there to clarify.

This just seemed too fake, in an uncanny-valley kind of way, and I couldn't figure out why; until I realized there are no seams for the hood/A, B-pillars/etc.

A local (larger) jewelry store in the Chicago area has been doing exactly this for years.

I subscribed to Motor Trend Classic. I loved that magazine. I was really bummed when it... folded. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

If I'm not mistaken the one in YOLT was a one-off "convertible".

I miss my XJ all the time. This is an excellent example:

Sooooo, the 300M is front-wheel drive if I'm not mistaken... How?!

Ever since I saw a video of one of these going wrong, where you could see limbs coming off, I can't watch these.

If you live in Chicago you have to buy a sticker to put in your window (about $75), and if you live in a neighborhood that has permitted street parking you have to buy a permit as well (about $25).

It's really hard to appreciate what some of these "cars" look like now and the size of the hole. I guess they are going to fill it in now, but I had the opportunity to see it and the 8 cars that went down. One was basically reduced to the drive train. Here's one that looks like it was karate chopped thanks to a 10-ton

I searched "auto body repair Morgan". Got this:

I 100% get why Tesla is where it is on that list. It's the rich liberal's why of showing off how much money they have via a car without being lumped into the same category as a Lambo driver (though we do that anyway, and more and more people are lumping them in).
