Agreed, but I don’t want to be too harsh on Abrams here. Clearly they were scared of making another phantom menace, so they tacked as safely as possible. Now that they have a hit under their belt, I think they’ll be a bit bolder next time, or else people will start to catch on.
Nah, it’s that he’s finally awake.
What about the complaint that TFA itself so closely mimics the OT? I found myself counting similarities before the movie even ended. It was a bit disappointing that they played it so safe, but I still enjoyed the movie and even feel good about the franchise going forward due to the excellent chemistry between the new…
You are missing something: that he was also Leia’s father.
I wouldn’t be so quick to call something “not even close to true” when your own answer is speculative as well.
Indeed. The similarities between The Force Awakens and A New Hope are so blatant, it’s hard to ignore. I won’t be surprised if the next movie ends with Fin trapped in carbonite.
Uhhhh, as of right now the Hornet’s are ranked 7th in the East, but there’s also only a 1 game difference between 2nd and 9th so you’re not that wrong either.
Yeah, I was only able to watch the first 30 minutes before it got totally dropped.
There are many licenses that aren’t transferable and it would simply break the model if it were. If I buy a license to use a certain song in a movie, can I sell that to another studio when I’m done with it? Of course not. Even most time shares work this way, and aren’t transferable.
Bloodborne’s lack of depth. It’s an amazing first playthrough, but it doesn’t have anywhere close to the replayability of other Souls games. The DLC helped somewhat with this but there just aren’t enough viable builds to keep playing it over and over again, as I did with all the previous Souls games.
Coincidentally, I heard Fox likes money too.
try to get active service units to fire on American civilians. See what happens.
Well wikipedia says we’ve killed 91,000 Afghanis since the start of the war, so I’d say their “successful defense” was anything but.
If you’ve got 2000ish caps to spare, you can get a full T-60 with a custom paint job from the atom cats garage, after doing a very short quest.
Ah, yes. The old “Dunwich borers”, of no relation to any Dunwich horrors you may have heard of.
Exactly. I’ve quit jobs faster than that and I was even getting paid to be there.
If they’re not allowed to change anything... then why do a remake at all? Why don’t you just play the original?
Really? I have a backwards compatible ps3 and have never had any trouble playing any ps1 or ps2 games, something I did a lot. I know not many units were backwards compatible but the tech for the ones that were is fine.
Bloodborne is literally and absolutely a game, and only available on ps4. Literally.
