So basically aside from not finishing the story, they finished the story?

I used to be like you. I voted for Jill stein in 2012. Yeah, I got a smug sense of superiority for a bit but that didn’t change anything either. Now, on the other hand, had Gore won the 2000 election, the world would be a dramatically different place now.

They have these things called primaries. They’re a great chance to vote for the exact kind of candidate you want. When the general election comes around, your options become R, D, or wasted vote. If you want to waste your vote, fine. That’s your right. Just don’t act like the rest of us are fools because we don’t.

I’ll take a corporate state over a theocracy any day.

The funniest part to me about the GOP’s posthumous fellatio of Reagan is that he would be considered a RINO squish in today’s party.

I just don’t understand how someone can look at the tea party its quest for ideological purity and see how it’s destroying the GOP and say “Hmmmmmm, that’s what the Democrats need.” Which is essentially the attitude of the “vote tossers”

I will vote for Bernie, when he’s on the ballot (which I expect will only be during the primary). If he’s not on the ballot come next November, then I can’t vote for him then. And I’m not dumb enough to believe there’s no difference between Hillary and Marco Rubio or whoever so I’ll vote for Hillary. Yeah she kind of

Primaries. That’s the word you’re looking for. I’d rather have Bernie as my president too but I’m sure as hell going to vote for whoever is the democratic nominee is in 2016.

I hear ads on the radio when I start my car in the morning. I see ads on the side of the road as I drive into work. I get to work, check my email, more ads there. I go out to my car, and there’s an ad stuck under my windshield wiper. I go to the grocery store. There are ads playing over the PA, and there are even ads

Good God, now adblock is considered theft? I’m really glad I don’t have your sense of guilt, it would be crushing I think.

It’s true. I’ve never watched one of his videos and never will because his name is just the worst. It’s like the linguistic equivalent of nails on a chalkboard.

The Republican party I know would never disenfranchise the poor...

I just want to know how one can think RotJ was bad, but think the utter garbage fire that was A New Hope was good. No way grandpa, you got the trilogy backward and you’re too drunk on your hot take to realize it.

Yeah but Qdoba has really shitty vegetarian options so Chipotle wins.

This take is 2 hot 4 me.

The final boss! Oh, here’s this clever magician who can come back from the dead, cause hallucinations, etc. But how bout you just fist fight him instead? That fight was a huge letdown.

I haven’t tried the beginner’s guide. Maybe I will once I get out of the hospital. My larger point though is that much of what made that old generation great was the fact we were kids (I’m also in my 30s). For instance, I tried to repay final fantasy 9 recently (one of my faves as I remembered it). But I didn’t

F2P sucks of course, but there’s more to this generation than that. The Witcher! Dark souls! Arkham games! All of which I’ll take over any old school games (with maybe the exception of chrono trigger, but that game was truly special) We really are living in the golden age of games, but some refuse to see it.

Oh, bull. I played New Vegas at release on a ps3 of all consoles and while there were some glitches, it was far from unplayable. I sank over a hundred hours into it, mostly in the first month it was out. Plus they were using Bethesda’s engine, so your ire is misplaced even if it was as glitchy as you make it seem.

Woah now, you’re dangerously close to the idea that the way you eat your food is no one’s business but yours.
