Excuses? You moron. He even says that in the video I posted. It is title as a Lotus because they didn't want to pay the money to have it crash or smog tested.

Dozens? There was only 3, and they were all back in 2001 lol.
That's because they didn't want pay out the ass for crash and smog testing. NOT because it is still a Lotus.
No, I'm not. 80% would account for the sub-frames. There's a whole lot that was changed. Everything you listed was minuscule items that aren't even apart of the main structure or the running gear of the car. Hell, even John Hennessey himself said that all of that accounts for 10% of the original car in this video:
What grammar? What in the hell are you talking about?
Really? You do realize how much was changed on the car right? The front and rear sub-frames were even changed out for much larger ones. That almost 80% of the car right there, given how small an Elise/Exige is.
Talking about this skewed story.
That's what I thought...
Uh you only said it wasn't CAR. You're not qualifying this as a CAR. Do you realize how stupid that sounds?
Only 10% of the original donor car exists...
It wouldn't do well around a track? Have you see any of the review videos of the car at all? John Heinricy was behind the development of this car, and helped tune the suspension for track use. John Heinricy, the guy who took the ZR-1 to its first ever sub-7:30 run around the Nurburgring before Jan Magnussen got a hold…
Scam? Tell me, when was the last time he ever scammed anybody? And don't bring up the whole GT-R thing, because I will post the true story about that.
How is it not a car? It has 4 wheels and runs under its own power. It also has headlights, taillights, and many other things that qualify it as a car.
You don't know much about physics do you? Funny how you post a car on a road course and this is on a 2.5 mile oval where they reach speeds up to 210mph.
Well will you look at that. You proved me wrong without being a total keyboard warrior like you were being at the beginning with the showing of anger and name calling.
Funny, that says the engine is 2.8L, not 3.5.
Also, the whole Ford thing never really took off. Therefore, the engine in use in the Ford Rileys is still brand new.
That was 1 photo, and I already knew that car was tubed. Considering all the stories surrounding Memo's incident talks about is if he were in the other TUBBED chassis other Corvette DPs sit on, he would have received minimal injuries because he would have been sitting on the left instead of the right.
That's what I thought. Keep on with the insults instead of providing me with proof.
Oh look, you're using name calling now lol. You seriously need to stop taking this so seriously, Power Ranger boy.
Whoa did I hit a nerve?
1. Not all DPs are tube frames. Check out the Corvette DPs. More than half of the Corvette DPs are running tubs. Oh and then there's the Ford Rileys, which are running tubs also. Research: It's your friend.
