Jim Traficant advocated digging a huge bay off of Lake Erie to make Youngstown a port. They built one of those table-size models of it, that's as far as it got.
My job involves live performance, and while I'm doing that people look at me. Sometimes for hours. It's not a big deal. Their gaze has no power over me and I have no power over their gaze. What are they supposed to do, stare at their phones all day?
Now we have a robot claiming to be one. I believe there's evidence of a consistent pattern here, a pattern of attractive female images being utilized commercially in all forms of media. And I intend to prove it.
This whole scenario is cromulent. It's like some Batman villain put chemicals in the water.
Did you ever figure out who the "bad people" are, the ones collecting hearts and souls? It seems like we just need to take them out and the whole thing would fall apart. Hit evil where it hurts, right in the distribution apparatus.
Who have they had to rally around in their lifetimes? The Democratic Party eats its own young. For decades now its presidential candidates have been centrist on economics. Don't like it— get out. So now we have no platform, no bench and no base.
Ever watch Univision? Trust me, they believe in pretty women.

The original is the best but I want a new interpretation.

AM follows the curvature of the planet so it has a lot more range, plus radios can play it without needing their own power. None of that matters if you have a better FM option but sometimes you don't.
I watched it over 2 days, couldn't help myself. Recovery from dental work was a factor. But one advantage of the binge was not having a chance to figure out twists. The whole thing just washed over me as a complete work. I'm only now beginning to read online commentary about it.
Arrow was an acquired taste for me. I couldn't get into it until I started from the beginning. Without the Robin Hood vibe, which took a backseat after S1, Oliver is just a slightly more congenial version of Batman. That works OK but falls short of the character's potential. The current season may address this,…
Westworld is terrific, well done in every way and timely in the issues it raises. Cannot recommend it enough.
Outside of medicine there aren't a lot of opportunities for educated people in those areas. Those who want to leave get educations and leave. They have colleges, you know. But that doesn't solve everything, it's just one piece, no matter where you live.
It's not so much a rural vs urban thing. It has more to do with class and with regions. There is definitely a sense that the coastal finance and tech industries have robbed everybody else blind, and there is also a sense that both parties have been too permissive of that.
