I don’t think it’s so much defending his position as the right to state it. There are obviously calls to remove it from Netflix, which is hard to see as anything but censorship. I think they are art, but the art is not in storytelling and it still seems strange to me that the “inconsistent tone” is what would ruin your enjoyment of a shooter.

I would love a remaster of Twisted Metals 1, 2, and Black.  The stories for Black were peak 2000s “grim and gritty” but the gameplay was the best of the series
