For the sake of art we need to start another war just so this generation of young men will have a legit beef with their government. If picking on the poor and obese is the subject of your protest song you’ve lost the plot.

According to his bandmates he also put about $3,000,000 worth of cocaine up his nose in a 5-6 year span. That screams high society to me.

I’m fine with this targeted astroturf as long as if it means that Republicans can finally play their own stuff at their rallies. Instead of continuing to co-op songs that are gay anthems or songs like “Born in the USA” or “Fortunate Son” without paying the artist.

This is absolutely my thinking. I’m interested in seeing the new Wes Anderson movie and Charlie Day’s new one Fool’s Paradise. But, I’ll watch them when they’re available for rental. In fairness, I have a 60' 4K television with surround sound so I really don’t feel like I’m missing the experience by not going to the

Same with the Supreme Court. That lifetime appointment shit was written when people were lucky to see their 50th birthday. It was never intended to let 70 and 80 year olds live out their golden year making public policy.

With my last breath I curse Zoidbeeerrrrg!!

I would say if it disrupts the performer or the other people around you probably crossed the line into where you’re just being completely inconsiderate. I don’t mind people taking a quick pic or video but I’ve had the experience at a general admission show when the person in front of me thinks they’re making a goddamn

So there you go. Exercising a dubious “authority” over someone simply to rub their face in a poor decision they made strikes me as the definition of cruel.

Man, you’re really close to having an original thought so I’m going to push through. You agreed to pay it back to the LENDER on their terms, and the LENDER is willing to renegotiate the terms. Why would a 3rd party who you did not enter into a contract with get to intervene an tell you that the terms can’t be

Just so you dum dums understand the distinction between this situation and your metaphor: This was the LENDER choosing to forgive part of a loan due to their usurious practices and the court telling them that they can’t do that. It is, in fact, unnecessarily cruel.

I’d add lazy too. A good comedian would find a better metaphor. To say that people that believe that Trump lost fair and square are equal to holocaust deniers is galaxy brained nonsense.

I guess Jim Bruer was had a scheduling conflict.

Working /touring comedians actually make a lot of money. Before the age of Netflix guys like Brain Reagan, Bobby Slaton and other that weren’t exactly household names, were millionaires just from touring.

He was also the Bubble Boy’s and Keith Hernandez’s favorite comedian and he also did some local commercials. So there is some indication that he was at least modestly famous.

Also, as someone who lived through the 90's the public perception, especially on the side of white conservatives, between the crack epidemic and the opioid epidemic is night and day. The “blame” for the fentanyl crisis has shifted 100% to illegal immigration. I don’t remember that kind of empathy being extended crack

Correct. I had a similar experience convincing my grandmother that she could no longer drive. We had been telling her for 6 months that it wasn’t safe so we were going to sell the car. We offered to take turns driving her around and she steadfastly refused. She ended up causing a fairly serious accident and totaling

Considering certain people have taken to throwing around the word “groomer” as an insult, I thought I’d point out that this is actually what grooming looks like. Grooming is not something that happens to child watching a dude in drag read a book for a few minutes. It’s persistent, it’s intimate, and it’s usually coerce

I would also think that since streaming is international that also dries up one of the biggest revenue streams. Baywatch became one of the most profitable shows of all time without ever airing on one of the big networks by selling its syndication package internationally.
When a show goes exclusively to streaming

And they don’t seem to really understand capitalism. That’s what is hilarious to me about the whole Bud Light thing. Not only did they get mad a large corporation for seeking out a new market, but then they tried to come up with alternatives. But due to their own policies of deregulation not only does In-Bev control

Well, I was being facetious but I understand that doesn’t translate very well on the internet.
