It is alarming the way some Americans are so oblivious to reality. To be fair they do start drilling it into us pretty young how America is the best, the freest, etc. But there is really no excuse to remain so oblivious with all the information so readily available to us with the internet and everything.

When people talk about how they’d have to wait longer to see a doctor I have to ask them if they are really that heartless or just not thinking about what they are saying. Like do they really prefer poor people to go without medical care as long as those who can afford care get it faster? The excuse they tend to turn

I’ve seen this on facebook and they meant it in the “taking the bullet” way like you said. It’s supposed to be... comforting? I guess...

When I was in high school one of my classmates was kidnapped and murdered by her mother’s ex boyfriend. He had just gotten out on bail after being arrested for kidnapping my classmate’s mother.

I am so sorry to hear about that. I know there are supposed to be exceptions to the work requirement for mentally ill people, but I’m not sure how easy they are to get.

I know so many people with dogs named Boomer as in “Boomer Sooner.” Makes me think of dogs, football, and land runs.

A few years ago I bought some coconut milk chocolate ice cream at Wal-Mart, but they don’t carry it anymore :( my Wal-Mart kind of sucks. They also never have lactose free eggnog! I’ve tried those lactaid pills but they don’t seem to actually work.

I’m not vegan but I’m very lactose intolerant and I can barely find any lactose free ice cream, let alone vegan! Breyer’s lactose free vanilla is all I’ve had in years, I’d basically kill for chocolate ice cream. I’ll have to start looking very closely at the ben & jerry sections for this dairy free stuff. My town

I have a six year old cousin and I remember my aunt having baby powder for her when she was a baby and me telling her you aren’t supposed to use it. So I’ve known about it at least that long and have been telling people in my family not too use it since then, but literally every baby shower I’ve ever been to, someone

My ex husband was Native American and it didn’t even occur to me to label our relationship as interracial until other people started commenting on it. Of course it came up more the longer we were together and people would talk about how our babies would have such pretty skin and weird stuff like that.

My conservative family is going CRAZY on facebook over this bathroom stuff and how they don’t want men in dresses in the women’s bathrooms, etc. So my mom posted a pic of a trans guy and said something like “So who wants this guy in the ladies’ room?”

I just started weight watchers two and a half weeks ago and so far I am loving it. I’m not going to meetings, just tracking with the app, so it’s really easy. I remember when I was young my aunt did weight watchers and it seemed like a hassle, but with the app now it’s really not something that takes much thought.

But why didn’t he just go ahead and make it tall enough to stand in? It’s not like someone else is renting the vertical space above his box right? Or are they? ?

The hospital in my town switched over to a religious hospital a couple years ago. I don’t know their policies on these types of things but it makes me nervous. Any kind of situation like this would be upsetting and painful and potentially dangerous enough without dealing with this crap on top of it. It’s not like

Well when my dad adopted me they changed my birth certificate, replacing my biological dad with my adoptive one. So it’s not an accurate depiction of my genetics. I’m guessing anyone who is adopted is in the same situation.

I use softcups for my period and it looks like this fits basically the same way. I’ve had sex with a softcup in several times and it wasn’t a problem. So I would actually be interested in this.
