No one expected BMW M to make a bizarre shooting brake version of the (rather lackadaisical) Z3 roadster, but they did, and it quickly earned the adoration of car geeks everywhere.

Don't worry, I'm sure pressing it will void the warranty, which ought to be in the car's documentation somewhere.
Kinda reminds me of the chrome ringed headlights of a Toyota 2000GT
The really cool thing is they used the AMC 258 CID straight 6 which is a great motor. Also, a Jeep 4.0L fits right in there. I heard the AWD system has a lot of u-joints that occasionally need replacing as it ages.
Indeed. I want an Eagle in the worst way. Unfortunately, every single one in Western NY is mostly rust by now.
I approve this kind of trolling.
Came out of pretty much no where. Hopped up AWD car thing. Who knew in 1980 that the market of 2015 would be 1/3 vehicles that can trace their defining design traits back to the death wheeze of AMC.

Case in point (forgive the crappy picture, I was a tad excited at the time):
Sedans are much more popular in the US and I have no idea why. Americans love their Camrys and Accords like they love guns and fast food. Have you ever seen a Fiesta sedan? It's horrible to look at and was basically an after thought to cater solely to the American market that prefers sedans over hatches and SUVs over…
Wagons are fast and fun
No, the real reason I got my wagons is, first and foremost, because they were fun to drive. And I think this gets to the heart of why most enthusiasts like wagons: because they offer SUV cargo volume, and SUV seating capacity, and sometimes even SUV capabilities, except they have a center of gravity that falls within…
Most car enthusiasts don't like wagons. Think about ALL the car enthusiats, not just the Jalopnik readers/commenters, because we make up a very small portion of the overall car enthusiast community, think of all the muscle car guys, the lovers of classic exotics, supercar fans, bro-truckers, off-roaders. The vast…
