Reading the transcripts of this interview fills me with rage as I remember the arguments I had with “independents” and “swing voters” about the importance of voting for Hilary solely to keep Trump from nominating federal and SCOTUS candidates.

If you are”aggressively hitting on” your subordinant, then maybe the whole thing isn’t as consensual as you think.
What was disturbing about it was that I couldn’t get laid again for another two years.
Q: Is there a difference between butt grabbing and rape?
My hunch is that one or more of these guys really did need the money badly, so George made a point of also giving it to guys who didn’t need it, too, so the ones who needed it could keep their pride. Hopefully the ones who didn’t need it donated it or used it for other good works, like Gerber says he did.
This guy has led a life of completely apeshit confabulations, like he just happened to be visiting New York during 9/11 and was recruited to run the morgue, being the White House chaplain during TWO administrations, and so on...
He took time out from being rapey to being a straight up racist with monkey pictures of the Obamas on his Facebook page.
Any word on where Hillary was when this “suicide” occurred?
Dictating what a person should do with their money goes against the entire tone of this site. Clooney is a bright, progressive, generous guy. Turning this into something other than a nice gesture is in poor taste, shame on you.
You send them a book? Why buy books? Why not check it out at the public library and donate that money to charity too? Why are you so indulgent and extravagant when you could be more self-righteous and sanctimonious, sorry, I mean charitable and humble?
Only on the internet can doing something generous for people you truly care about be turned around as something bad. The arguments that he’s hurting charities or giving to already wealthy people so it’s selfish or something are just silly. Guy did well and hooked up his friends like many of us could if we had the…
If you’re worried about a mortgage you aren’t independently wealthy. Sounds like he just did something really nice for a group of friends he cares about. I highly doubt that he’d give a million dollars to another millionaire because it would be pointless.
LOL are you for real?
So I’m guessing you only have 2 pairs of pants and live only on what’s strictly necessary and never go to the movies because that’s $10 you could give to charity? Not saying 14 million is the same as a movie ticket for Clooney, but it’s like the average American taking a vacation. Are you going to ask Americans to…
Exactly. Clooney - or any one of us — could be criticized for spending one penny more than is necessary for survival because that money could have gone to charity.
I agree. This is an unnecessarily bitter post from Hannah. How does she know that Clooney’s friends are “independently wealthy”?
Yeah, I didn’t get that either, and I sort of don’t get some of the responses that are being critical by saying that giving $14 million to your friends is taking it away from a charity. Huh? It’s not taking it away if it wasn’t theirs to begin with. It’s Clooney’s money to distribute as he sees fit, otherwise where…
I think he just wanted to show his friends he valued them. As I remember it, he’s mentioned in interviews how he came to Hollywood with very little and lived on friend’s good graces and they helped him a lot in the beginning. I don’t know if he’s thinking he’s altruistic so much as giving back to people he loves.
Yeah, I don’t know why it’s assumed The Boys are all independently wealthy since Clooney refers to worries about mortgages and paying for school?
Trash me if you want but I think that’s super cool of Clooney to have done that and I applaud him for doing it.
