When did TheHallsofTara say anything thing about that law? A personal opinion of someone raping or sexually assaulting isn’t gonna convict them of a crime. Tara is talking about supporting victims, not grabbing a pitchfork.

I hear so many people asking “If you were accused of a crime, wouldn’t you want to be treated as if you were innocent?” but I don’t see a lot of people asking “If you were sexually assaulted or harassed, wouldn’t you want people to believe you?”

I’m a fan of Jen Kirkman and a diehard Jezzie. I admire CK’s work but have never been completely comfortable with him as a person, as I’d heard this shit before (which is rare, I usually have no idea what’s up with celebs). So...Confliction, party of 1.

But... I’ve been hearing about these very same accusers that went to the NYT, for YEARS now. So, I mean, if you want to give yourself kudos for not believing these women until you heard the news from a source you consider more reputable than the place you like to comment, that’s great, but I think it’s fucked up.

It seems to me that you handled things very well, with Jen Kirkman. It’s unfortunate, if I had to guess, I’d say I think she was just frazzled by how much scrutiny she got, and lashed out at you guys. But you all did your job. This shit’s tough!
