Same here, I'm always perplexed by the "cash only" thing. I look at my bank account daily and when I swipe cards I see what came out of it and my credit balance increasing. I view the cash as gone once I took it out. I only ever use cash if a credit card is not an option, because I don't track it.

I lost something like 35 pounds once, and people kept asking me how I did it. Everyone's face would just fall when I said "I stopped eating dessert and started running 3 miles every other day. That was actually it." I could just see their faces go from glowing hope to crushed disappointment.

I once asked a woman I hadn't seen in a while if she was about to have her baby yet.... she'd already had the baby and it was 3 months old. She just hadn't lost the baby weight and still looked pregnant. I tried to recover by gushing and asking all about the baby, but I felt like such an asshole.
