I'd first like to get rid of people who use "u" instead of "you."

Just echoing everyone else who replied to you here, but two anecdotes:
That character is endlessly amusing to me.
I was really upset, but that was really the moment I got into the current season. I just was not invested in any of the characters in Coven and didn't give a crap what happened to them. With this episode, it was "oooh, I care!"
I like it a lot more. I got so sick of Coven by the end I sat down with this season with this arms-crossed I'm-just-watching-this-crap-for-my-husband attitude, and it's much better so far. The biggest difference is I'm getting invested in the characters. Coven got too ridiculous and I wanted to slap everybody.
I actually went to a rather good one that placed a big emphasis on form and safety, and I learned the oly lifts in one-on-one sessions, with the minimum weight possible. They were very concerned about my form on squats hurting my knees, and they were right. What frustrates me though is that I shouldn't have been…
I wish Crossfit didn't tell people everyone who wants to can do it; I'd still have no idea what living with joint pain every day is like.
For anyone, since the Q&A with Amy is over - can bodyweight exercise get you strong enough to lift heavy things if needed? My knees don't tolerate actual weighted squats/deadlifts, but I need to lift heavy things at work sometimes. Usually there's people who do it for me, but sometimes I need to chip in.
Would you be able to see a physical therapist? Physical therapy exercises tend to be gentler and focused on strengthening particular muscle groups so you can work your way to something more complex. A lot of them are done on the floor though. But there's a lot of light exercises you can do standing up with stretch…
Ok, my head is spinning right now because I saw that wedding dress ad for Rick Snyder in Michigan but now it's for Tom Corbett? Did a superpac make one for every governor's race? Is there one in California between Jerry Brown and, uh, whoever the hell is running against Jerry Brown? When will the madness stop?!
When you have creditors calling you and suggesting you get money from your roommates to pay them (true story).
I think at the current point in my life, I seriously know more women than men into sports.
Just some non-scientific counter-examples, since you seem to have poor anecdata: the biggest most annoying please-stop-posting-about-the-Giants people on my facebook feed are women. Every time I've been in mixed company to watch sports, everyone was in the same place, watching the sports. And when I'm at the in-laws…
I just decided to conclude this all means I'm not female. Now I have to break the news to my husband.
And that's the disturbing truth.
I had a pretty sheltered life through high school, and didn't go out to eat much in college. So there's a waitress out there who has a story about the grown woman who didn't know steak could be cooked different ways and what "rare" and "medium" and all that meant. I can't remember whether I had the waiter explain egg…
People seem hung up on the idea that heterozygous breeding (fold to non-fold) eliminates the disease, but it doesn't, it just makes it less severe and the degree of severity is unpredictable. That's the bit the breeders are trying to hide, or willfully misunderstanding. Yes, the heterozygous cats are better, but even…
I get most worked up about short-nosed dogs. They all have some degree of difficulty breathing. Other breeds are predisposed to this-and-that, but bulldogs, pugs, frenchies.... they all essentially have to breathe through a straw. I saw one the other day that was damn near turning purple trying to breathe and the lady…
As a vet - I didn't know and had to look it up in my own resources to double check y'all (y'all are right, btw). Not really because the breeders are able to keep a lid on it, though. It's mostly because purebred cats are pretty rare, although I'd expect them to be more common in NYC. I've never had a Scottish Fold…
I'm too lazy to check your math but sounds right and I'll stop obsessing about it!
