Idiocracy did that to me.

For most women though, those things are *during* the period (although someone upthread mentioned hers start a couple days before). I've never understood the whole "pre"-menstrual thing; I hate my life during, but that has to do with the pain. Everyone seems to have a different experience though.
The only thing regarding my period (which I have affectionately dubbed "shark week", stolen from a friend) that affects my mood is that having stabbing pain that does not respond to OTC drugs in general tends to make me kinda a bitch.
Part of me is thinking "there they go after more of my money" and the rest of me is thinking "here, take my money!!!!"
Torties definitely have a reputation for being mean, and my experience largely bears that out (and I've met hundreds of cats). But meanie cats can come in any color and I've met some super sweet torties. It's just something that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy - they've somehow developed that reputation, so I…
That's definitely a tortie and the one in the article is a calico. Calicos tend to have bigger patches of color, but the main thing is they have white fur and torties don't.
Those are stunning.
I used one to take some pictures in Egypt that turned out pretty decent. It was a while ago, and it was one of those disposable 35mm cameras in a waterproof casing. What was funny is another girl bought the exact same camera, and hers filled with water but mine didn't. Buy a couple I guess?
I actually rather liked it in seasons 2-3, but it was all downhill from there.
I really wish I didn't hate weight lifting so much. My grip strength is pretty awesome from rock climbing though, so there. Actually part of the reason I don't lift weights is it's hard to fit in around rock climbing, as I typically need a rest day in between.
I despise both jogging and weights, but I have picked jogging. Lifting weights does not train me to hike 17 miles in a day. I picture mountains while I jog and it makes that feeling of a knife under my ribs worth it.
I first wondered if it was a meteor and then decided, nah, gotta be a firework. It was just so crazy bright! I am so excited to see this article.
I like how the woman looks sad and bored by the whole thing.
I used to find the smell of death nearly intolerable but after 3 weeks of necropsies in vet school barely noticed it anymore. If anything it makes me hungry.
I can only tolerate news coming from those outlets because it's all so infuriating I need someone to put a funny spin on it for me or my head asplodes.
Seriously. I think I watched all five seasons in about three weeks. Interrupted only for work.
As a veterinarian, I am thrilled Animal Practice is canceled.
Huh, just realized you replied to another post I made.... given your comment and feelings there, go for it. Having a different professional degree though, I always feel the need to warn people about the epic debt load and craptastic job market (seems worst for lawyers out of all the advanced degrees you have to pay…
There's definitely choices, and I don't feel completely fully trapped or anything, I'm just not too into the phrasing of "infinite choices". Doors do shut. My husband is currently facing a choice in his career wherein path A pretty definitively closes off path B for good. His choices heavily impact mine - they don't…
I'm jealous of people like you. I canNOT let go of my stupid ambitions and I'd be so much happier if I let them all drift out to sea. Sounds like you made the perfect decision for YOU and that's what matters.
