Here’s my baby back at home in Alameda. This was before the big bath before heading to Seca for Festorics with the BMW CCA.

Jeep. Wrangler.

For what it’s worth, I don’t hate the Prius. Prius drivers, on the other hand...

Because if you can spend that much, you probably already own most of those.

I generally agree with this, unless it’s some sort of museum piece. If you have a 1 of <10 car that future generations will want to see, you should at least keep it clean and safe. Drive it, and drive it hard (mechanical items can be fixed), but don’t street park it in NYC.

No. When you buy a car, it is a thing that you own. You are not a steward of the vehicle, to preserve it for future generations. You use it as you see fit.

Anyone with experience using a dashcam or GoPro knows that speed on video from inside the cabin looks much slower than it actually is. 60 MPH on a winding country road appears the same on video as what 30 MPH or so looks to your eye in real life.

Hey guys, we found the asshole of the day.

Not only that, but it was a cop car with a push bar that circumvents the impact absorbing bumper and crumple zone. That Smart car is impressive.

  • A cop car that weighs at least 2 tons slams into the tiniest compact that you can currently buy at 104mph.

Disappointed to see that this was merely a car transporting a grill and not a car equipped with a functioning propane grill inside like the headline seemed to suggest. Oh, well. It’s Florida we’re talking about, so there’s always tomorrow.

I’m shocked that an overpressure strong enough to peel the car like that didn’t do serious damage to the occupants.

I’m more sharing my own twisted temptations than really giving “advice” on this one. :)

Red blood cells have been around for like, billions of years. Let’s replace them with something else.

New options on 2018 Porsches:

Tom, normally your advice is top-notch but suggesting anyone buy a 6 year old Audi practically warrants a complaint to the BBB. ;)

Everyone: “So, Kristen, tell us how it really went down.”

Tenzo is sort of your run of the mill cast wheels brand. Hadn’t heard of Fast wheels before, but it looks to be fairly similar. They don’t have any information about their manufacturing methods so I assume it’s all gravity cast. Fast at least says that they won’t say a wheel fits your car if it doesn’t meet the load

I’ll list all of my triggers that I can think of:

That’s too bad because octopus is fantastic.
