damn. that makes me sad….but obviously the guy can't work for free forever on a weekly show.
still…i will definitely miss it big time. gary, mike, the whole crew…..be well!

agree. there were definitely moments of striking originality in those recent films…but all were countered by moments of blatant amateur clumsiness with all the seams on display. robert downy jr definitely acted his butt off on 2 girls…but the film was thin and abrasive imo. it also doesn't help that he talks…
i enjoyed the tyson film for sure….but i can't really give him the lion's share of the credit. it's pretty much tyson's movie. i saw some other stuff that was pretty terrible and it makes him look like a desperate perv more than an accomplished director (not that you can't be both i suppose). fingers was cool.
suspension is a given in any show….this one just is not worth it.
it's the kind of writing that makes you feel bad for the actors. spader doesn't give a fuck…but everybody else just sounds silly.
she's obsessed with spader….otherwise she would never bother. i enjoy her recaps much more than the show itself….they are funnier and much shorter.
thanks…i will avoid that as well.
something like that. with the compulsive eating maybe more like a rotten brazil nut.
agreed…this was by far the most interesting part of the story.
i'm going to watch this just because toback is such a bitter nut.
dude…..that shit was sad. whew.
not a perfect ep (or show in general) but damn if that last 15 minutes did not get to me.
agree….first time i've seen her perform and she went beyond all expectations. she is just something else….blew up the damn stage!
no doubt….angelo is a total showman.
i've said it before…and i'll say it again: april is downright adorable.
also: "i'm your handsome white jesus motherfucker."
she's an impressive talent. she owned that stage like angelo from fishbone did years ago. kick ass. i loved in that first tune where she jumped off the stage and stuck her face in the camera. i'm sure the whole thing was totally choreographed but still really fun.
if so…i agree with that one laugh.
Janelle monae kind of owned the show. what a powerhouse performer! small but mighty.
i think they were trying for least plausible looking recording session ever in a video (that is still sort of pretending to looking like a recording session).
total sound/visual/technical disconnect.
agree.
mccartney is one of those true musicians who also happens to be insanely wealthy and successful. he's definitely not in need of money. point being….he would have made this record just because he wanted to, even if the profits of it just covered the cost of making it. dude obviously really likes writing, playing,…
