i think i'm actually starting to forget about robert altman for a second and just enjoy the cheesy evening soap vibe here.  the husband's political subplot is definitely boring tho.

ok…a pretty amusing ep but i did notice one glaring issue with it (and the series as a whole).  there is a certain sitcom (and movie) syndrome where one sister is the "ugly nerd", and one is the "cute stupid one"….and yet it is obvious that if you just took the glasses off the "ugly nerd" she would be equally as cute…

true enough.  needless to say i was very sad to watch that final scene of davis sitting forlornly on his porch as annie walks out the door (probably for the last time). ouch….the most beautiful woman on the planet leaving you has gotta sting.
