I like the Lego exclusives like the Fire Brigade or Grand Emporium better. Much better bang for my lego buck. And yes, I'm an adult that plays with legos.

@qingdom: "That is your name isn't it? Calvin Klein? It's written all over your Underware. Oh, I guess they just call you Cal" "No actually, they call me Marty"

@Timmy: well, it was his FIRST novel.

How is this any different from the RibSandwich served at any elementary school? I never understood the fascination with these things....

We flew with a child under two, but we sucked it up, spent the $300 on her own seat, brought her car seat in it, and it was the easiest, best way to fly with a child. She was happy, I dont think she noticed she was in a plane at all. Plus it gave the parents a chance to enjoy the flight, instead of having a

@funkotronic: I thought I heard it was an actual working prototype monorail, but it never really went anywhere (literally)

wait, so are SSDs on a mac pretty much worthless at this point? do they do TRIM, and can you turn off spotlight?

@OreoExplosion: I used to say that, but then if you look 5 years ago, crappy dumbphones had just as bad of cameras as 99% of crappy dumbphones do now.

After all, R&D of a custom processor is basically, free, right?

@AqueousBeef: Yup, the graphics card on my imac was overheating due to Apple's poor design (known problem on iMacs....), and you NEED to run this. I still get tons of glitches, but at least the computer can run for a while.

"oh, can you fix my computer then, I think it has a virus". Yes, because turning on a DMA to read samples from an ADC on a cortex M3 is exactly like windows

does it seem odd to anyone else that the OS is fixing bugs related to applications?

@Ignignokt: Growl caused all kinds of issues on my 4 year old iMac. kernal panics and slowdowns galore. I hated it. it was nice for iTunes and mail notifications, but it wasn't worth it with all the headaches it gave me in Leopard.

Okay, so now we have apps that work on only iPhone4, apps that work on iOS4, apps for only iPads, apps for pre-iOS4, and apps for pre iPhone 4.

my Brother has a 50 Plymouth, and is running dual carbs and split exhuast on his flathead six. he's got the same air cleaners as a Hudson Twin H. Sharp engine. and the sound out the split exhaust is just awesome.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Plasma sets use a LOT more energy than CRTs

You forgot to compare number of LCD monitors on the dashboard. Pretty sure the Insight would kick the Prius butt there, but it might be pretty close...

I like the Malibu, Aura, Cobalt SS, Astra XR. All are not dated and crappy cars, and all would be on my list if I were shopping for a new car. I would actually have a harder time thinking of fuel efficent import cars that I would want to buy...
