Didnt he sample Soul Calibur way back too?

So maybe Wu should work on her metaphores and you should work on your sensitivity towards the subject matter so that people can be allowed to talk about it with, or in the vicinity of, you. And do this without stepping on any mines you’ve clandestinely placed in your mental landscape.
And that is why its fine to tell them they might have overreacted over an event they neither paticipated in nor mostly know enough about to properly comment on.
Why would it be cringe-worthy? Its a good metaphore that makes you understand her point. 70 years later it should be ok to do that without hurting someones feelings.
She could have easily phrased it differently had she been you.
Goes to show its an aquired kind of taste. Maybe Ill be ready in a few years.
My opinion is that the design-execution does not uphold its intent.
I agree. But it depends on the subject matter. Like that Dragon Crown artist who gave hummongus breasts to the witch character in the game because they would signify she was a rich character, something he claimed was a common idea in feudal europe.
Ofcourse you would think am a communist....
There are tons of jokes people can make about any identity, and they do. All the time I, for example, hear artist-related clichés aimed at me as a joke. The “fucking hippie” slander is pretty common too. At this rate its getting boring and, to be honest, quite offensive. I do wish my way of life would not be a…
Amateur poets borrow, mature poets steal.
Is plagiarism borrowing or stealing?
Rich people (obviously not all) are the worst. Just buying houses and cars and pooltables and whatnot instead of doing something constructive with their money. I get what he’s playin’ at but fuck him for being a boring piece of shit then.
I thought it sucked. Reality is obtuse enough. Constraining mechanics of this sort to create immersion feels derivative. Its a game about exploring. Feels as if it should be smooth as possible especialy since there arent enough landmarks around to help you navigate and confusing level-design at times.
Ive had more friends become addicted to game rather than a substance. To me its obvious gaming can be addictive. I dont understand why its still a discussion. Because some gamers dont wanna be further stigatized?
The concept of controverse is just your opinion. Im trying to be objective.
Sure you americans are like back in the 17th century when it comes to these things. Im from Sweden and am using that perspective as a springboard.
What is it in my argument that you dont get? Its frickin low rez pixels maine. Not an accurate representation of real life. While, granted, depicting blood and broken bones is cartoonic at best its what happens in your brain that matters. Im talking symbols, visual language. Dragging AssCreed into it is clearly…
Usually, what happens when you strike deals with publishers is that theres a contract involved stating you cant do “similar” work for a few years after you either quit or get the job done. Its pretty much common practice to hinder peeps from stealing IPs.
Yes, but it is still a pretty crude pixelated work of art suggesting voilence. It simply does not look like real life. TLOU2 looks pretty much exactly like real life theres a huge distinction there.
While all of this is true and I do agree with what you are saying, as well as acknowledging the fact that it feels awkward to play Soul Calibur nowadays because of its wobbly female parts, there is a bit of cultural clash involved here.
