Seems to me they have a pretty clear idea of what they want to achieve. And considering it’s their game... I think they should be allowed to go aboutit anyway they want. Maybe they want to find a good balance just because nobody else has managed to do so?

I sort of agree. Vanilla Destiny felt fresh and exciting and then The Taken King sort revitalized that feeling.

I used to played for the story until lazy turds on the net started complaining about it’s lack lusterness and Bungie started listening, dumbing everything down into stupid shit instead of an interesting distillate of various sci-fi masterpieces.

And just because EVERYone complained about the horrible horrible story in Destiny1 (basically just because they’re lazy f’’ks who couldn’t bother to read the actually quite interesting, far out mystery building grimoire cards)
we get an even more watered down story....

Furthermore....the name exotic kinda implies that it’s.....exotic??? Which means it’s not necessarily good but rather out of the ordinary (and I agree some exotics were a little too ordinary, but ultimately, the subtleties of the majority of them felt…
