I liked it best when the advertisers pointedly made no point whatsoever about race:

About three-and-a-half percent of Tucson’s population is black.

If they do this wrong some white cops are gonna roll up on it, tase it for resisting and then give it three warning shots in the back.

As a white guy, I am mystified.

It has much to recommend it.

It actually does, though you won’t often be able to draw power at such a high rate for sufficient time for it to become a notable deduction.

I’m not saying make them tiny. I’m saying make them reasonable.

That’s a tremendous amount of haulage for a mere two grand.

I love and want them.  And that granny-gear six-speed manual.  It isn’t 4LO, but it’s low enough on the gear that needs it most.

Is that “rebuilt” or just “built?”

Shitty roads, hell - the 2CV was literally built for plowed fields.

I dunno, the late-90s models appeared to be riveted together out of 1/4" plate steel. It was like driving a bridge.

My fourth-gen Toyota Truck.

I have certain misgivings regarding proclamations made by people on TV, for TV.

I’d be okay with 100 horsepower. I don’t need to zip to 60 in two seconds - I’m not as spontaneous a driver as all that. I don’t need 200 miles per hour - nobody else is going to be going that fast so it’s kind of a pointless capability.  Trying to dodge around all that traffic, you’re just going to wind up as a

That was a discussion we had, that its injuries might have tainted the meat. I don’t recall the details but I do remember she said that it wasn’t going to get up again.  She grew up hunting and eating everything from trout to bear so if she tells me it’s not getting up, I believe her.

Messing with her carries risks. She carries hunting knives, she chases muggers, she’s 5'1" of all-fight-no-flight.

I won’t weigh in on the FSD beta issue, but I am mystified at a couple of things in particular: if FSD ever becomes a real self-driving capability, won’t that make a Tesla car, effectively, a robot?

Commercial chargers are a ripoff. You’re paying hard for the convenience. Powering a Bolt for 100 miles costs less than four bucks if I charge it at home; paying more than double that for a commercial charger means people without home charging are getting reamed.

Once a guy was blocking the road and my wife got out of her car to see what was wrong. There was a desperately injured deer in front of his car and he was yelling into his phone and as she went to examine the animal, he started yelling at her to move it.
