Now there’s a link I won’t be clicking while at work.

Being featured in a magazine doesn’t convey any kind of trustworthiness. The assorted Girl Next Door features in various men’s magazines socked that point home; sure she looks okay in the right light with top notch photography equipment, but then you meet ‘em, talk to ‘em, dang. You wonder how they can afford to eat,

You are mistaken.

I’m with you.

Once or twice my Prius has gone past 500 miles but its tank isn’t very big and I don’t generally run it that dry in any case. But when I had a Civic Hybrid, the tank was the same as the standard car but with careful driving - and the Civic was both dumber and a manual, giving me WAY more control over its behavior than

They must have been doing something wrong because that doesn’t agree with any of the information I have found.

Labor included? $2000 at the outside for a Prius. About that for a Fusion.

I don’t need anti-hybrid naysayers weighing in with their BS propaganda. You’re wrong.

Luxury cruiser that won’t depreciate = luxury cruiser whose depreciation is already done.

Ha!

Demolished and rebuilt? The bridge passed one hell of a test with flying colors, it would appear to me. I say jack it up a half-inch, shift it six feet back to where it used to sit and bolt it back down again.

I wrote a short story a few years ago in which Kong and Godzilla are put in the same place somewhat by accident. Kong is dragged by American military to an island - not his native island - but in the process Godzilla tags along, entirely on his own and unbeknownst to the people that kidnapped Kong.

This is one of those rare occasions where the worst damage appears to have already been done. How much worse could we make it?

RE: the Sable heater core.  When I had one, my Volvo 240's HVAC blower was okay which was good, because the apparent consensus around Volvo faithful was that the blower gets mounted in a jig in the factory and goes down the assembly line, and the rest of the car is screwed to it in layers.  Apparently working on the

‘03 Civic. Open the glove compartment, pop the glovebox’s releases, remove the whole glovebox. Slides right out.

I used to think the Prius’ headlight was similarly difficult to change, but have since figured out how to hold my hand/mouth/the slightly loosened light itself to get it out with discombobulating the entire front of the car.

HA! Fuck you, dealers. Now and forever. You’re not even trying to hide the profiteering anymore.

If the sensor is that easy and affordable, why hasn’t the seller done it?

Seeing’s how a classic Mini in half the condition can easily cost twice as much, this can only go one way.

The thing that throws me is that, having seen this damage which was so much more likely because of the lightweight, unbacked belly pan, is that now that they’ve made the repair, they replace the belly pan exactly as it was.
