That is a salient point.

I recently saw a sign that read:

I have to wonder if #1 is due to electric power steering. My ‘03 Civic Hybrid had a numb on-center feel that would lurch to life and give a distinct feeling of i’M heLpInG! and make what were intended to be very gradual maneuvers take on a sudden jerkiness.

In sufficient adult supervision.

The usual tagline reads “No low ballers, I know what I have” but today and today only it shall be modified to read, “Questions welcome, I know what it looks like.”

I can make out “Winter” on the sidewall of one tire so maybe not AS tires.

You guys are looking at this the wrong way. $800 buys you:

H2 generation by electrolysis is notoriously lossy even at the current state of the technology.  “Load sink” is right, you’d be dumping a lot of energy into a process for a poor return.  Even lead-acid battery charging is a more productive diversion load than electrolysis.

“Hydrogen based?” WTF is that? Are you trying to get us to use hydrogen or not? Is it hydrogen or something else that just has a lot of hydrogen in it? Ammonia? Methane? - wait, that’s too easy.

It isn’t a relationship until you’ve bought me drinks and/or had sex with me. Until then the “relationship” goes not one angstrom farther than seller/buyer.

Last name Stan, first name Tesla?

I would very much like to see Brownell apply his lightweighting process to the 912E, and then for the 912E to get the full Singer treatment. Keep it a four cylinder but epitomize the hell out of it.

What amazes me is that, with so many cars to bring to the table, there is not one Toyota among them.  It’s the #1 or #2 most popular car brand in the world.  It is statistically unlikely for there to be none listed, and yet here we are.

Oh yeah. Mass drivers + Moon = easy math. No atmosphere to get in the way so make the track as long as you like. Just push and push and push. Shoot, build a track all the way around the Moon’s equator and run up the velocity until the payload is in orbit at ground level; release the clamps and give it a nudge of

Speaking of interplanetary, I’d like to see dangerous/expensive rocket launches shed some of the excess weight by leaving a fair portion of the booster on the ground.

Like a drunk toddler in a Cozy Coupe.

ATF ruling says otherwise:

Covert, indeed.

The upholstery on my 87 Truck is still okay.  A tad frayed by the driver’s door but that’s the only place it shows any wear.
